Wakeful  is now completed, with screenings commencing from October 2018.

Post production continues apace and Wakeful screenings will begin in Autumn 2018.

The opening of the ‘Wakeful’ show at APT Gallery in Deptford is on November 8th.

Show open 9th – 18th November Weds – Sun 12-6.

Weekends of 10th/11th and 17th/18th – screenings , workshops and discussion at APT – details tbc nearer the time

Monday 12th November –  gig with live score by Limpe Fuchs at Cafe Oto in Dalston

Screening and events on board Lightship art space: LV21, Gravesend on the evening of Friday 7th/daytime Saturday 8th December: more info at: LV21

Hello to everyone who supported the Crowdfunder for ‘Wakeful’ in 2017! Big thanks again and here is a long overdue update.. I stormed the winter solstice at Kronstadt in a late December research trip, the filming is all done now and we are in post-production. I am blown away at every stage by all the sounds and performances and everyone who has helped: Limpe, Karina, Erin, Edwin, Helen, Breathing Space, Ian, Jaime, Charlie(s), Louie, Kareem, Neus, Oligarkh, Sarah(s), Igor, Anna, Juri, Arto.. to mention a few. Moving on to finish a first version of the work by late spring.. more to follow!

Wakeful  is underway with recce in Estonia for location work, permission from Scottish Screen and the Estonian Maritime Museum to use archive shipbuilding footage from Clydeside and Hamburg, support from research funds at Middlesex University and from ACE. On completion, the expanded version of the film will be shown at the fantastic APT Gallery space in Deptford as well as screenings at the Estonian and Greenwich Maritime Museums, and confirmation of exciting sound collaborators (see: Artists)... more production and screening news soon..


‘Wakeful’  has now been awarded support from Arts Council England which will support the filming and post production.


Also great news from the crowdfunder – we raised £1,020 ! A huge thank you to all who offered support.
