I am blown away at every stage by all the sounds and performances and everyone who has helped: Limpe, Karina, Erin, Edwin, Helen, Breathing Space, Ian, Jaime, Charlie(s), Louie, Kareem, Neus, Oligarkh, Sarah(s), Igor, Anna, Juri, Arto.. to mention a few. Moving on to finish a first version of the work by late spring.. more to follow!
Wakeful is underway with recce in Estonia for location work, permission from Scottish Screen and the Estonian Maritime Museum to use archive shipbuilding footage from Clydeside and Hamburg, support from research funds at Middlesex University and from ACE. On completion, the expanded version of the film will be shown at the fantastic APT Gallery space in Deptford as well as screenings at the Estonian and Greenwich Maritime Museums, and confirmation of exciting sound collaborators (see: Artists)... more production and screening news soon..
